Car washes suck but sometimes, you just have to.

I can’t wait to hand wash and wax it again. I usually do a wash, clay bar, and wax early every spring. Touchless car washes suck but it was dirty enough that I couldn’t stand it anymore.

Car washes are pretty horrible. They’re great for scratching up rims and such though.

I just waxed the cruiser for the first time in a LONG time...im doing it ALL the time now. The salt doesn’t stick! I drove it all up in the mountains this weekend and all that was on the waxed bits was a light dust that wiped off easily.

This one was touchless so if it added scratches then that’s pretty impressive.

There is a place near me that does handjobs for $25 (automobiles only). It’s a great deal when all of the “full service” washes from the automatic place are at least $25 and they do a terrible job. Only downside is that you have to make an appointment.

Wash the car and truck sparingly over the winter, those swirl marks don’t just make themselves.. This way the spring detail looks so much better;
